How to get started?

The process is pretty simple and you can have your first Shake set up in minutes.

1. Create your account or use your IZEA login credentials if you were previously registered.



2. Click on 'Create Shake' and follow step by step guided instructions.

A Shake is a particular service you may offer, hence you should create several Shakes for each additional offering. I created separate Shakes for all the Social Media platforms I'm in: Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, and a Blog.


3. Publish, wait for an approval email, and you are LIVE and ready to start accepting brand offers.

What does a successful Shake need to have?

Here's some insights on what you need to include in your Shake in order to get brand's attention:



1. Introduce yourself and include something that makes you unique. This is your chance at a first impression, so make it count! I included a list of topics I write about, plus mentioned that I am a #momblogger and have extensive experience working with numerous brands.



2. List several Deals under each Shake. For example, I broke them down by the type of content I create for Instagram: Post, Reels, Video, etc.


3. Provide samples of your work. I don't need to tell you how IMPORTANT the visuals are, so show off some of your best work.



4. Add some Options. These are Add-Ons that a client can purchase for an additional price. Think: Image Rights, Additional Content, etc.



5. Don't skip over the Requests section. This where you will let the client know what information you will need from them in order to complete the project: live dates, hashtags and mentions, etc.



6. Fill out any FAQs and you are DONE!
