Mid-century style on a budget

Mid-century style on a budget

If you are like me and love mid-century furniture and decor pieces, but don’t have the budget for $1,000 dresser, I have a solution for you. We’ve been living on one income for a while.. And with 2 kids, moving to a new house and all, it took us some time to get the place set up. I’ve been eyeing mid-century dresses for a long time, but didn’t really the budget for it.

And with our kids being still little, it was probably not a wise decision to invest in an expensive furniture anyway - there’s markets, glue, and all kids of crafts happening every day at our house)

I love how our new master bedroom dresser area turned out now! See below for all the deeds)

The dresser - Wayfair. Great find for under $250. The tricky part is that it comes in 2 boxes with lots of pieces and requires assembly. It took my husband a few weeks to finally her around to it and he still had a bit of trouble putting it together. So just make sure you read and FOLLOW all the assembly instruction carefully. Don’t be like us)) Once it’s done, it looks super cute though.

Mirrow - Wayfair as well. I absolutely love love this mirror! it’s really pretty in person and complements the rest of the furniture beautifully.

I am so excited about how bright and dreamy this setup looks in our bedroom. It still brings a smile to my face every morning I wake up.
